In my Photoshop Composition class we were tasked with creating an ad for a company of our choice. ThinkGeek is an online retail company that specializes in ‘nerdy’ or ‘geeky’ pop culture merchandise. There was a lot I could work with in terms of showing off merchandise. I kept it simple with it’s call to action being just to visit their site. The dog photo was personally taken and the yoda hat was added later since I took the picture from the company site and added a perspective grid to make it authentic. All posters were kept bright to be legible to the viewer. All shadows and brights were brushed on by hand.
